Hookah & Tea?

Have you had a long week of intense school work and want to go somewhere to relax with your friends? Aladdin’s Sheesha Cafe is the perfect place. Aladdin’s is a hookah bar over by the Tallahassee Mall. It has the most relaxing atmosphere and the interior design is amazing! I am obsessed with the herbal tea, it is so delicious and helps you to relax as well. There are over one hundred flavors of hookah to choose from and all of the kinds I have tried so far are really good. Aladdin’s is the perfect place to hangout and relax with your friends because the music and decor are fun and enchanting. If you don’t like hookah I would honestly recommend going with your friends and just trying the tea because it is so good. There are always special deals with hookah and tea and the prices are not that bad compared to other places. Aladdin’s Sheesha Cafe is definitely a spot in Tallahassee that is unique and very memorable.

RRRRRita's!

If you are looking for a variety of dessert items all in one restaurant I would recommend going to Rita’s Italian Ice. Rita’s has frozen custard, gelati, italian ice, and much more. Rita’s is always something that will hit the spot! Whether you are looking for more of a light afternoon snack or a filling after dinner dessert Rita’s is perfect for both. The times I have been to Rita’s they have good service and I have never complained about the quality of their food. Rita’s is open every day of the week and they have a cool birthday club you can join to get free Rita’s and coupons for your next visit. They also have a catering service, I mean who wouldn’t want Rita’s at their birthday party? If you still have not tried Rita’s I would recommend going out and getting it as a snack or dessert. If you have no idea what to get, chocolate custard with sprinkles is always delicious! I have only been to the Rita’s up here in Tallahassee once or twice but I used to go to one back home where I am from. It was right by Clearwater Beach and was always to perfect treat are spending the day in the sun. I cannot wait to go to Rita’s over the summer after the beach!

I scream, you scream, we all scream for Ice cream!

If you want to go all out and indulge on some of the most filling ice cream ever, head over to cold stone! Most people have heard about cold stone because it is a pretty big chain but it is my absolute favorite place to get ice cream. At cold stone they have lots of different flavors to choose from, my favorite is double dark chocolate, and all of their ice cream is made homemade in the store. My favorite part about cold stone is you can make your very own creation by using the many toppings they offer. Cold stone has so many different toppings and the best part is when they mix your ice cream and toppings together on a marble slab and it is blended into perfection. If you have a hard time deciding what you want in your ice cream they also offer a large list of creations that include the toppings listed such as “Birthday Cake Remix” or “Berry Berry Berry Good”. Be careful though because as soon as you start looking at the beautiful pictures of the ice cream creations your eyes will be bigger than your stomach. This ice cream is filling and I think a “like it” size is just enough for a sweet treat to make your day so much better.

Mmmm cupcakes

I am dying to go to this little bakery called Lucy & Leo’s Cupcakery. I have heard only excellent things about it. Lucy and Leo are actually the names of two dogs who were adopted from the Leon County Humane Society by their owners. If you didn’t get it from the title, at Cupcakery they only serve cupcakes, but there is a large variety of delicious choices. Each day of the week they have nine different “daily flavors” to choose from with different frosting. The prices range from $.75 for the mini size and $2.25 for the standard size but I have heard that they are well worth it. Cupcakery sounds like the perfect place to go for dessert after having a light dinner. I think cupcakes are one of the best desserts ever because who wouldn’t want a little mini cake of their own? The interior decor of Cupcakery is also set up in a relaxing fun atmosphere as I have been told and there is artwork displayed for viewing as well! I really want to get to Cupcakery for a treat right before the semester is over. If you have heard any good or bad comments about Cupcakery let me know :)

Sunberry!

My absolute favorite place to get a delicious afternoon or evening snack is Sunberry! I think Sunberry is definitely one of the places you must go to before you graduate Florida State University. For those of you who have absolutely no idea what I am talking about, Sunberry is a frozen yogurt place on Tennessee Street. What most people get at Sunberry is some type of frozen yogurt and then there are a bunch of toppings you can get on top that range from mango slices to fruity pebbles. Sunberry used to have only two flavors, original and mango, but they recently got this new machiene that makes 60 new flavors and its honestly the best thing ever. I could probably eat Sunberry everyday and it’s actually really healthy for you which is also a plus! If your one of those people who doesn’t like the sound of “healthy ice cream” you will be surprised at how good it is after you try it. For those of you who don’t like fruity flavored frozen yogurt they also have chocolate and lots of chocolate toppings to choose from. It really is a place that can please almost anybody. If you didn’t know their competitor Yogaberry is basically the same thing but I like the atmosphere of Sunberry a lot better. It is a cute colorful shop and it has really cool artwork that you can buy and enjoy looking at while you indulge. So if you are making a bucket list of places/things to do before you graduate definitely put Sunberry on it you won’t regret it!
